Black Butler: Complete First Season (Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

AMAZING!!!!
I love this anime, it is absolutely insanely awesome. I highly recommend it. Sebastian is the most bad ass butler I've ever heard of. This whole series is spectacular. There are demons, grim reapers, people you'll adore, people you'll have fun hating, it has everything.

Aku made shitsuji desu.
That's Sebastian's catch phrase of sorts, roughly translating to "I am one hell of a butler" or "I am a devil of a butler"
But in Japanese it has two meanings, also sounding like this:
Akuma de shitsuji desu.
That means "I am a devil and a butler"

Also instead of Grell saying "Bassy" it's actually "Sebas-chan" which in Japanese would be like a disrespectful (since Sebastian hates him) pet name.

Hope you found that interesting!

ONE OF THE BEST!
This show is one of the best animes I've seen in a while, (although the manga is a bit better for those who want to check it out), but overall this anime is very well done with lots of mystery, action, and humor. If you haven't seen it yet you're missing out!

Love this show!
I bought the first season and the second season together and I was very impressed on how fast they arrived! Two days early, it tickled my fancy and I am watching it right now. The cases and DVDs are in perfect shape and the show is just amazing(though I prefer the manga over the show.) I recommend this for anyone 16+!

Black Butler: Complete Second Season [Blu-ray]

Blu-Ray AND DVD: Just to clarify
My copy of this just arrived today and I can ensure to you that despite the misleading title it is in fact a Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack just like it should be. Of course the image and the description should have been enough proof but I'm just saying this to eliminate all doubt. The case is nearly identical in style to the complete season one except in a smaller, more normal case.

It comes with all 12 episodes and the 6 OVAs.

The Butler is Back!
When I learned that there was a second season of Black Butler, I wasn't quite sure what to think. The two people on the cover obviously weren't Ciel and Sebastian, and considering I had read thirteen volumes of manga and never seen anyone like these two, I was pretty confused. But, since people had given it such great reviews, I decided to give it a try, and I was not disappointed.

The story begins with the introduction of one of the two new major characters, Alois Trancy. Like Ciel, he is a noble with a demonic butler, the bespectacled Claude Faustus, serving at his side. By the end of the first episode, his four other servants have been introduced: Hannah Annafellows and the three violet-haired triplets. Ciel and Sebastian make an appearance in Episode 1 as well, although it is very brief. The drama only gets deeper from there, with an immediate rivalry developing between Ciel and Alois, as well as between the two demon butlers.

While the story is very intense...

great sequal
This was a great second season to my favorite anime series. The addition of another demon butler added another area of drama and interesting plot movements to add to the endless humor that black butler is full of.

Step It Up

Kara "Step It Up" is a great DVD album
I ordered this through Amazon--I don't remember if it was a direct or third-party sale, but usually I have to buy Asian pop music from Asian or Los Angeles based vendors. The product arrived promptly and in perfect condition, and the DVD recording is top-quality without defects (something that is not always the case when I have bought from sellers in Asia). One DVD is a fabulous music video of the Kara female singing group, and the second DVD shows the group rehearsing and other scenes and discussions with group members. Kara is one of the most popular groups in Korea and in Japan. If you want an album that could immediately become your favorite one--this may be it!

AWESOME!!!
First of I thought it'll be a big packaging judging from the image,
but it has a really nice small size to it. At least it won't take up too much space.

Packaging is very beautiful and I really love the design.
The photo book... well let's just say it's worth having
in my Kara collection.

Another item I'll most definitely treasure in mint condition.

Demons [Blu-ray]

Italian Horror in All Gory Glory
I first saw this film alongside Beyond by Fulci, and at the time I got the films confused only that Demons was even more horrifying since it takes place in a movie theater and I was in a movie theater when I saw it and subsequently Beyond for the second time. That being said the film is highly recommended for gore afficiandos and films of italian horror. The sequels to this film which I have not seen, received poor reviews. Much like the sequels to Fulci's Zombi were not very good. Yes there's gore in this film but there's at least a bit of story. Great for a drunken weekend with buddies who have similar interests.

A great horror movie!
Set in Berlin, a new theater has opened which is showing a realistic violent horror movie about demons and the occult then suddenly some of the audiences transform into demons literally and ripping almost everyone to shreds, only some humans must defend themselves and find a way out.

A well made, original and entertaining horror action fantasy from director Lamberto Bava ( Director of " Blade in the Dark" and "Shock") and produced by legendary Italian horror maestro Dario Argento ( of "Suspiria" fame) loaded with great make-up effects, gore, action, a decent story and a nice twist in the end makes this a definite must see movie for fans of the genre. The DVD is quite good in picture and sound with fine extras especially the commentary by Lamberto Bava.

Also recommended: "From Dusk Till Dawn", "Demons 2", "Cemetery Man", " The Church", " The Last Action Hero", " New Nightmare", "Day of the Dead", " 28 Days Later", " The Evil Dead", "Dawn of the Dead ( both 1978...

Some of Argentino's best work,
What can be said about Demons ? The one thing that comes to mind is that it's stood the test of time after 16 years. I consider myself a huge movie buff and this is one of the films that scarred me as a child. I can reall watching this flick with my dorm buddies in both the Air Force and colleage and they were enterainted by it. What makes this film so scary is the gore and effects. When I was 4 my parents banned from me seeing this movie. My first time seeing it I know why the film isn't for those who can't handle gore or have weak stomach. The musical score and tense pacing are amazing and if you watch the film in pitch black with surround sound it'll give you a few scary moments. I give the fim *** out of four. I give this rating based on the camera work and score. The film's only bad point is the dubbing.

Playing for Peanuts Uncensored

Life in the minors is rough...a new independent league is worse
I bought the uncensored version. Not for mixed company or the youngsters, but for mature adults you will get to see what kinds of things go on in the minor leagues. I have been around minor league baseball operations over the years and this little 10 episode version seems pretty accurate to me. Life in the minors is tough on kids and what is worse is a new, fledging, independent league as you will see if you purchase the video. Wally is passionate about the game and yes he is salty and does not mix words but this is the world of baseball behind the scenes. There are many F'Bombers....

I particularly laughed at the front office people trying to be league officers and GM's in this league. There was a reason they went to an independent club/league as opposed to affiliated clubs and a reason that the league barely limped through one season before folding. I also enjoyed seeing the video and then hearing how the press, many of them not even at the park, wrote about several...

I love this DVD,
You can feel the raw emotion while watching this series. It's a shame that the Georgia Peanuts are now defunct.

Squid Girl: Season One - Complete Collection [Blu-ray]

Squid Girl rises from the deep Blu(-ray)!
Squid Girl is a series about, well... a girl who's a squid who comes to invade the surface world, as retribution for polluting the oceans, in order to conquer humanity. Except, she encounters many problems while trying to accomplish her goal. The series as a whole is very entertaining with great comedy; the script is filled with ocean puns, and the characters are easy to like, with each having their own quirks. It's hard to not like Squid Girl herself as she's genuinely naive to the world around her, and often gets picked on by the humans she encounters.

As with the DVDs there is both English and Japanese audio available with English subtitles for the script or songs/signs. Both the English and Japanese voice acting performances are enjoyable, and really well done. I find watching it in either language to be just as comedic and entertaining. If you're looking for a lighthearted comedy series, then you won't be disappointed with Squid Girl.

What makes this release...

Squid Girl Invades Blu-Ray!
What happens when you cross "Sgt. Frog" with "Invader Zim"? You get a whole lot of SQUID! If you're looking for a good comedy series that will always put a smile on your face, then look no further. "Squid Girl" is about a half-girl/half-squid who's come up to the surface land to enslave the humans who have been polluting her ocean. The only problem is that she easily gets side-tracked from her mission and ends up getting bullied into working at a beach house restaurant.

I'm not an expert in the technical aspects of video and audio on home video discs; however, the picture quality of the Blu-Ray looks great, and the sound quality sounds fine as well.

In short, if you're a fan of comedy anime shows, be sure to give this squid a little love.

Great fun - and no squidding!
This is a really good series; cute, funny, full of puns (like 'scared the kelp out of me', 'shut your beak', 'inkredible!', 'I'm just jetting off', 'what the squid??' etc.!).

All the characters are great in their own way, from the quietly scary big sis Chizuru Aizawa, through younger sister, the pushy, red-headed Eiko, who run the 'Beach House 'Lemon'' seaside restaurant, and their little brother Takeru, who adores Squid Girl, and calls her 'Squid Girly' in the English dub (Ika Nee-chan, lit. 'Big Squid Sister' in the Japanese); he thinks of her as a big sister and playmate. Squid Girl herself is bonkers; she was sent to the surface world to conquer humanity for polluting the oceans, but has not exactly researched her invasion; she thinks there are only about 1,000 people in the world! She never thinks anything through, has the attention span of a goldfish (or maybe a squid?), is scared of plastic killer-whale buoyancy toys, and eats like a horse (but not a sea-horse!); in...

Cook County [Blu-ray, DVD, & Digital Copy Combo]

ANSON MOUNT - ADDICT PERSONIFIED
Simply could not abide this work of Anson Mount being left to wither and die due to having just one single review containing one single star. The first reviewer was perhaps commenting on the depth of human depravity in this film, which is indeed abhorrent and revolting, rather than dismissing the brilliant performances that bring this all-too-real story to life.

The story, dialogue and mood of Cook County could easily be a documentary of rural East Texas drug life with it's broken, neglected children and men who've devolved into human parasites, draining the life out of all who dare to come near them.

I can testify to having witnessed the exact drug-addled ramblings of Anson Mount's addict, which he plays with such blistering reality it boggles the mind. I cannot imagine the writer making this up, pulling only from his imagination, for these exact words are uttered inside these same filthy infested homes by these very depths of human ugliness, not just in East...

Good Movie all around!
This movie has it all...great cast, good story, gritty look at drug life. Kept my attention all the way through until the end.
Plus..Anson Mount really "owns" this role. One of his best ever!

Too real for my blood!
I wanted to see this movie because I was curious to see Anson Mount. I didn't know anything about the story line and only rate it as average because of the content. The acting was great on Mount's part, as expected, but other than a vehicle for his good acting, who wants to see the gritty side of life, ironically from the comfort of home. It took me days to stop thinking about the horrors of out of control drug usage.

High Sierra: A Journey on the John Muir Trail [Blu-ray]

BUY IT!!
You will not be disappointed by this film. From the epic views and the ever changing landscape to the story of these young men taking on one the most beautiful trails in the world. High Sierra HD is one of the best trail films I have ever seen. As a fellow hiker, I wanted to grab my pack immediately and jump on a plane for Yosemite. If you love hiking or just love the outdoors, you won't be disappointed. Buy it!

An OUTSTANDING film!!
I have watched the movie twice so far and will watch it again, many times, I'm sure! This is the best film of a backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail you will ever see! Having been on portions of that trail back in the 1970s as a teenager it brought back a lot of memories for me. I especially related to all the talk about food (or lack of food). I recall going through the same transformation from pain and suffering to appreciation of the beauty and grandeur just as some of the boys did in the film.

This is truly a beautiful experience to see - you won't regret it.

Last night I went to REI to look at backpacks!

Excellent film!!
I loved the film. I liked the Shelton Johnson interview breaking the trip up into chapters, great way to get some trail/ John Muir history into the story...very well done. Excellent photography, I could tell that the filmmakers put a lot of effort into getting good shots.
Thanks, I really enjoyed it!!

Demons 2 [Blu-ray]

This 'DEMONS' a clone of first, but still entertains nonetheless...
DEMONS was an entertaining gore-fest; DEMONS 2 is much of the same set in an apartment building, but it's still entertaining, very bloody and gory, and downright creepy at times. This film is also quite campy like one reviewer already stated, at times funny, but creepy enough to make it at least memorable.

The story starts with the day of lead character Sally's birthday, and many of her friends have come to help her celebrate her party. Many of the apartments occupants are fixated on a cheesy horror movie where some kids are sneaking into an abandoned city section where the last film took place (I am guessing that's where it is). There's also some actors from the first DEMONS film, Urbano returns as the weight trainer and he's in his usual commanding but silly form, and the security guard in this film was the driver in the car of cocaine addicts in the first film. Both of them ultimately meet a grim fate in the movie. Sally is not a happy camper with her dress for the...

Teenage angst with fangs
It's your birthday party - you have guests coming over, you don't know what to wear, you hate your dress, your hairs a mess, you hate the thought that your EX may be coming over.

What do you do.

Watch Telly! Sally leaves her guests to party and gets engrossed in a movie showing the apocalypse left behind by the first infestation being rooted at by a gang of nosy kids.

They find a body in the movie of a derelict demon and through an act of stupidity bring it back to life.

Out of the telly and into our Sally who then proceeds to munch on her party guests.

Excellant?

You bet!

Trapped in a technoligically advanced building the crazed teens sniff out all the tenants and go about getting them all converted, you will see some of the same characters from the first but don't be alarmed, the story itself is different.

The infected demon dog was great!

DOWN BOY!

Good Sequel to Horror Classic
Demons 2 is the sequel to Demons which featured patrons at a theater being mysteriously trapped and transformed into demonic creatures. Demons 2 starts off with a high rise apartment full of people going about their lives until an unhappy teen (played by the director's daughter) at her birthday party goes off on her own and watches a TV documentary of what happened the last time the demons made their appearance. A demon featured on the show actually enters the room of the girl and transforms her into a demon. This starts the ball rolling for more and more transformations. The building's security system then goes haywire and traps all of the tenants inside as well as destroying the telephone system. Filled with splatter effects and enough atmosphere to give a few chills, Demons 2 is a satisfying sequel although there are some bad spots such as one "scary" demon who bursts from an infected child's chest. The demon looked more cute and cuddly than menacing. Also puzzling...

The Ultimate History Lesson: A Weekend with John Taylor Gatto

Must-Have for Any Parent's Library
The Ultimate History Lesson is such a treasure. Many of us can tell that something is very wrong with American schooling, but we shrug our shoulders and lament at the apparent "incompetence" we're told is rampant in our system. Most importantly, like good little Americans, we move along without ever questioning things for ourselves.

In this DVD, John Gatto expertly unfolds the stunning truth that the wholesale failure of American schooling is absolutely by design. Your kids and my kids aren't meant to be able to think for themselves, but to mindlessly follow orders given by their superiors. How better to manage a large population of "human resources?"

What do we do about it? Well, purchasing this DVD is a very good start.

Must See, IMHO.
I, personally, think this is a must see for as many people as possible. It's a very relaxed, yet exciting interview with excellent reference captions often given at the bottom of the screen. Simply searching these is seriously eye-opening. I've watched and continue to watch the videos on YouTube, however, had to have the DVD's in my collection.

Thank you Richard Grove and Team Tragedy & Hope, as well as Mr. John Taylor Gatto. Best wishes for you all!

Excellent!!! History that you may not learn anywhere else
I have viewed or listened to this countless times and opened my eyes to "what I have been missing". I still turn back to this video about every two months to break myself out of the everyday trance we are all put into. I was shocked to find out not only that public schooling had been perverted but HOW it was done. Jaw dropping information.

Four Flies on Grey Velvet [Blu-ray]

Along Came a Spider
First, a word of caution - if you haven't already seen the film you'd do well to avoid Amazon's image gallery as it pretty much gives the game away.

As with the previous two entries in the unofficial Animal Trilogy, Four Flies on Grey Velvet is short on explicit gore but brimming with atmosphere and artistic ingenuity, with set-piece murders primed and mined for maximum tension. It was with this film that Argento began to cement his particular style and is something of a crucible for future ideas. The murder of Roberto's maid in a local park foreshadows John Saxon's fate in Tenebre, and with its sudden lapses in time and attempted escape through the cobwebbed space between two buildings (to a soundtrack of whispers and sighs) it also sows seeds that would flourish in Suspiria. Other visual motifs (crimson curtains, extreme close-ups, inanimate objects suddenly wielded by a seemingly maniacal camera) would be repeated or re-jigged in Deep Red, Phenomena and Opera...

Excellent picture quality but some missing footage (:40)
After suffering for so long with fuzzy VHS bootlegs, I was very much looking forward to this release. It's certainly the best the film has ever looked but after going through every single scene and comparing it to the recent RetroFilm DVD, I found that there are three scenes with missing footage totaling :40. These occur during scene transitions and include dialogue. Also, the speed of the audio seems slowed down. If you listen to Mimsy and Michael, their voices are way too deep compared to previous versions or films. It sounds like they rushed this release once they got the exclusive rights instead of getting it perfect. That is too bad. This could have been the one. It is not. I gave it 3 stars for the picture quality alone.

horror/murder mystery shines on blu ray.
Dario Argento made many classic mystery horror movies in his career. He managed to be make successful movies that were well recieved around the world. this was his third film, the first two 'the bird with the crystal plumage' and this was followed by 'cat o nine tails' , both are available in very good blu rays in the u.s. This one, his third movie , is only available from the uk in this all region blu ray. It will play on your player here without a problem. I went to amazon.comuk to get a cheaper price on this item though. This one has been restored and looks fantastic, it looks like a brand new ptint, as if you were sitting in the theater back in 1972!. Shameless remastered this and removed print damage, they also found some lost elements and put them back in. those elements are from vhs quality film and they are rare. But you have the option to watch the film without the added footage. (which is not alot of footage actually!). This is how I wish all old movies were treated on blu...

Wagner: Parsifal

Best Parsifal on DVD
Waltraud Meier delivers the greatest performance I've ever seen in an opera or even movie. Not only is she as compelling an actress as she usually is, but she's in her vocal prime (1992) and takes vocal risks with her performance that all pay off. Easily she's the best Kundry you'll ever see and hear. Even if you have the Baden Baden or the MET DVD with her, you should get this one to see her at her thrilling peak. I'm not prone to hyperbole, but I cannot praise her performance here enough. It's that good. Honestly, I showed parts of Act II to a total stranger on the street who doesn't know opera and they were riveted by Meier's performance.

Barenboim is no Knappertsbusch (for that true Parsifal sound, the 1962 Kna Bayreuth recording on Philips CD is the definitive Parsifal) but he's better than sluggish Levine at the Met and surface Nagano at Baden Baden.

I prefer Salminen's Gurnemanz for singing, but Tomlinson is close and a great actor to boot. And that's...

I will be hated but...
Everyone so far has loved this Parsifal. I don't. I admire Kupfer, an outstanding director, but think this, unlike his superior Ring Cycle, is misjudged.

He is an important part of the so called Regietheater movement in Germany: these directors make choices that deliberately fly in the face of any and all traditions. They are hated by many American viewers, but the best productions in this style can be revelatory -- cliches are banished, nothing is taken for granted or easily overlooked, and sometimes inconvenient meanings in the text are laid bare.

But this is more often strange than powerful. Schavernoch's sets are just odd. Wagner's text constantly invokes nature. This need not be shown in a literal or obvious way, but Schavernoch and Kupfer chose a post modern, architectural, cold look, that feels wrong (to me). The Knights of the Grail apparently live in a bank vault; upstage walls shift for Parsifal to enter from an invisible forest having killed a swan...

Finally on DVD
Oh wow - I waited so long for this production to be out on DVD that I almost forgot how how insanely great it is. I used to own it on VHS.

Meier is at her peak - enough said. Tomlinson actually makes you want the Gurnemanz monologues to go on longer, and Elming looks almost as good as he sings and acts.

For real hard core fans the Syberberg version may still be the top choice, but this one runs it a really close second.

It's a must have for anyone with even the slightest interest in this opera.

Designing Women: The Complete Sixth Season

Sugarbakers Gets a Personnel Makeover
During the summer of 1991, "Designing Women" was riding high in the Nielsens with its biggest ratings ever due to all the publicity the show was receiving in the tabloids after the dismissal of Delta Burke. After much speculation about her successor, it was revealed that Julia Duffy (having recently come off a 7-season stint as spoiled Stephanie on "Newhart") would be her replacement. At the time the producers were quoted as saying "There are very few actresses who can play spoiled, stuffy characters without making you hate them...and Julia Duffy is one of those few". That statement was spot-on and viewers had their hopes as high as the Thomasons that the show would continue to enchant audiences. "Saturday Night Live" alumna Jan Hooks would be taking over for Jean Smart, who's departure was so overshadowed by Delta's, it practically slipped under everyone's radar and was hardly mentioned.

The hour-long season-premiere on September 16, 1991 titled "The Big Desk" generated...

Season 6 Outshines both 5 and 7
I'm going to have to strongly disagree with the last reviewer (Wolfgang731). Some fans' dislike of the cast changes really skewed their view of this season, but it actually had far better writing than either Five or Seven. Season Five had great moments and rode high on the coattails of the fabulous Season 4, but because of everything going on behind the scenes, the writing was very off-balance and the ensemble was very fractured. Watch Season 2 again if you really want to see what this show is supposed to feel like. The show was really at its best when it raised the audience to it's intelligent, though-provoking level than when it tried to be traditional and slapstick funny.

Let's face it, nothing compares to Seasons 1-4, but Season 6 had characterization that was spot-on and strong ensemble work that was seriously lacking in Season 5 with Delta written down to barely a walk-on in half the episodes. And as much as B.J. was a very welcome addition (particularly to those...

You will laugh out loud!!! Love these shows!!!
Having just received this last week and viewed only half of the episodes, I am still amazed that, in the 6th Season, the cast could change a bit and still remain as funny as ever! I just watched the "Under The Bed" episode, it's my new favorite. In these days of stress and worry, I can always put in one of these DVDs and forget, for a while, the mess our country and workplace is in. I thought the Sixth Season may not be as funny and entertaining without Delta Burke and Jean Smart, I do love their comedy, but the writing is just as hilarious and crisp as ever and delivered with perfect timing by the whole cast.

Rossini: Le Comte Ory

Delicious!!
Le Comte Ory was Rossini's next to last opera, and was and is considered by many (Berlioz, Gossett, Osborne)as his comedic masterpiece. It is French, not only in language, but in wit and style, not at all like Il Barbiere or L'Italiana. Much of its impact as music drama necessarily derives from how it is staged.

This performance was a Met HD simulcast last spring, just about one year ago. It has been available on Metplayer and YouTube (in its entirety, with subtitles) for some time, and that is where I became addicted to it. I have watched that little screen for months and am eagerly awaiting its "debut" here on the big screen TV, in surround sound. Here's why:

IT'S WELL SUNG. While every member of the cast sings well, the three principle singers, Juan Diego Florez (JDF), Diana Damrau and Joyce DiDonato are simply superb. This is an opera that requires true coloratura singing from its leads, and it is difficult to assess which of the three turns in the most...

A singing nun at the MET... and "she's" a tenor!
I actually saw Rossini's French comedy Le Comte Ory at the MET when the production was new. The staging is by Bartlett Sher and as in his previous two productions for the MET (Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Les Contes d'Hoffmann) he has a knack for capturing the essence of the pieces he produces. Needless to say, this production has more in common with his streamlined and clean-cut production of Il Barbiere as opposed to the more plush and spacious staging of Hoffmann. Fortunately the camera work of the video version accurately represents the aura of the production even if in quite a diverse manner compared to seeing the piece in the theater.

The basic concept, which I thought might be somewhat gimmicky, is a stage within a stage where the audience is seeing the prompter and various stagehands manipulating the various stage effects and scenery as would have been done in 1828, the year of the opera's composition. While such a conception could ultimately prove to be overly...

Great Looking DVD
I preordered this dvd and got it today...............watching it was a real treat. This probably is the best looking standard dvd of a Met in HD telecast I have seen..............the video quality far surpasses the recent dvds of Turandot, Carmen, Don Pasquale, Armida, Lucia, The Sleepwalker, and Aida. The color balance, contrast, definition and sharpness are very impressive for a standard dvd. So many Met videos look washed out as though a brown filter was put on the camera lens.................not this one...........this is truly impressive.

Equally impressive is the dts 5.1 sound track...................it is so clear and well balanced.............the bass is very well defined and pronounced as it should be when playing and reproducing Rossini's music. Great job by the sound engineers on this disc.

The staging was OK, but not nearly as fluid as the 2005 Glyndebourne dvd of this opera.............the small stage on a stage cramped it........that was really...

Paris Opera Ballet Box Set contains 4 ballets. Jewells is pretty, but there is no story. From this I see Paris Ballet has Extra tall girls. La Dame Aux Camelias is very good story and a very new and good way to tell the story by flash back and forth. Finally it can make you cry. Cinderella and Swan Lake is made by Rodolf Nureyev. I found what he did is different with Royal Ballet. The story line of Cinderella is totally different with tradition. The Swan Lake's story line is slightly different with Royal Ballet. I like this better. Only one thing about Paris Ballet is the stage is boring, not as pretty and life-like as Royal Ballet.

Home PC Builder 2012

My first computer.
I know nothing about computer, I never even owned a computer. So 2009-2010 I found homepcbuilder watch the sample videos, it gave someone like me everything I need to know and more. My first build was one of there suggested "part lists" the workstation. I went great I followed two years later with the overClocking videos and still gave me everything I need to know to do it safe and smart. With there help I was able to overclock my i7-920 d.o. socket 1366 to 3.9mhz and my Ram 1868mhz. Today I have build 9 computer for me and others. It has saved me so much money in the long-run. I truly thing there prices are worth every penny. I think these video give you the right education for building and buying parts. This was the best money I ever spent. Hell I send everyone I know to this site. "They should be pay me" lol.. Joking aside its a great product. This gave me the confidence to go back to school for engineering at 30years old.

Home PC Builder 2012 DVDs
I have tried many video DVDs like this one and none of them came close to this Home PC Builder 2012 DVD. I even went to a school to be a repair tech and the books and the videos that were given to me did not come close to this Home PC Builder 2012 DVD. This video is easy to understand with step by step instructions, many useful links and information( which is even beyond the scope of just building PCs) in it. This DVD is a great value for the price. Anything you may need about putting hardware and software together to build your own custom PC and the latest technology such as CrossFireX and SLI is in there. Thanks to the creator of this video because I found it very useful to build my first custom computer successfully. An excellent customer service via phone call or e-mail.

Bought one for me, another for my friend
Rarely do I write reviews, unless some company really pisses me off. But this isn't one of those. Like many others I knew just enough about computers to screw things up. One night while looking for computer help online, I watched one of the demo video's. I learned a lot in that free 3 minute video. I applied what I had learned to my pc and it worked. I bought the video. With what I learned, I upgraded my computer. In time I built several computers for me, my family and friends. I've fixed computers for family, co-workers and friends. Most people are amazed when they see my pc's. Overclocked CPU's and Ram, ssd's, multiple monitors, & kvm to use one mouse and keyboard for two computers. And Michael actually answers the phone when you call. Real "Personal" help is hard to find. I even bought a video for my friend who can't afford a new computer, but given the right information he can maintain and upgrade what he has.

Polyphonica Crimson S Complete Collection

better than first Polyphonica
This takes place before the first Polyphonica that was released, when the main character was still in school. There are some minor changes to the story, but you will see a lot of familiar characters =).

Personally, I think that this should have been released first. I also think it was better than the first release.

The cover art does not do the show justice as the show is nothing like what the cover art shows, but whatever, it was still pretty good =).

If you haven't seen Polyphonica yet, watch Polyphonica S before the other one if you want to watch it chronologically =p.

Polyphonica Crimson S
Disregard the cover art! The person on the cover does not exist for all practical purposes as she is shown as a soft and alluring sex-kitten when in reallity she is a cute,short,redheaded,quick-tempered,"B" cupped at best,spit-fire that earns extra monies by demolishing multistory buildings bare-handed.She often finds a degree of embarrassment whenever she catches herself having, much less showing any emotional attachments.Nudity and fanservice is non-existant. If you want to know what this DVD is about, read the back as it gives a fair discription of the rather weird but somewhat interesting storyline and a production worth about 4 stars, maybe 4 and 1/2. If you want to spend the money on an somewhat interesting story, you could do worse. But if you think the cover art is anywhere indicative of what is on the disks, you will be very upset to discover it isn't so and that false cover art is somewhat like putting a picture of the Virgin Mary in a bikini on the cover of a Bible.

I love this, but this is NOT a hentai
The cover is very misleading. You get it because you think it is a hentai. I looked up hentai on this site, Amazon and this came up and it had this sexy cover. I could not wait to see it. If you like anime, you are good, but if you only wanted hentai, buy something else. The cover is the sexiest part.

Motto to Loveru Complete Collection

Lots of Heart and Heavy Fanservice
Genre: Harem, Comedy

For those that have seen the first season, this watches like an apology letter for the failed attempt at forcing a dramatic story.

Overall, it is a pretty breezy show involving a harem of women (including aliens) and incompetent protagonist that can't seem to do much with them. The scenes and situations are funny. The show is heavy on fan service with plenty of nudity and panty shots to go around. Worth a watch.

Motto to Love Ru
This edition advertised on this page and site is NOT the highly censored one that was reviewed by the above reviewer. As I was stuck (twice) with that other version and I have purchased this version from this site I can state without qualifications this one does not have post-production censorship. Whatever the original production was, this is it.
Newly introduced into this continuing farse are Lala's twin sisters,Momo and Nana and a something that was a potted plant in the flower garden and is now a small child of sorts;no explainations beyond that are given. The designs of the sisters is exceptional and they are unusually attractive and as lively as LaLa...and even more mischievious.Rito, the designated "hero",somehow manages to get his head and/or hands up the skirt of some female (and once up the skirt of a male)or a handful of teen-ager boobs or is caught naked in the bath in every episode;not that it was his intent, mind you. This series is broken into 3 dozen mini-episodes of...

decent show
as far as this version go's it is the un censored version and i really enjoyed the series the ending is left open and you dont quite get a good perspective on what might could would happen but the actual series is a pretty interesting harem style anime .. there are a lot of tit and but shots in this but nothing beyond that.

Music Is Language of Heart & Soul / Mahler Sym 2 [Blu-ray]

Great performance of Mahler 2, and a Documentary on Jansons
The first part is a documentary on Jansons bio. It was done well and to the point.

Part Two is a full performance of Mahler Symphony #2 Resurrection with the Royal Concertgebouw Orch where Jansons is the principal conductor, at the orchestra's fantastic concert hall. No one will dispute the excellence of this orchestra, which is recently viewed as Number One in the world, and the incredible acoustics of this concert hall. This Blu-ray's recording is excellent. It has incredibly large sound stage. I almost cried when I heard this orchestra under Blomstedt's baton in this hall a couple of years ago. This recording nearly matches a live performance at this hall. A well done job in both technically and orchestral performance point of view.

Now about Jansons' conducting-- he is precise, and delivers his perfectionist refined and harmonic performance in the tradition of von Karajan. No doubt, this performance will appeal to many listeners. I earlier gave tree stars,...

Amazing Race Season 5 (2004)

My Ox is Broken!
While I contend that TAR 1, the classic season is still the best, season five is the one that saved the franchise. While there are an assortment of forgettable racers, Colin and Christie remain the stars of the show whether you love them or hate them. Christie with her uber-manic intensity (with which she encourages a jeepney driver to run people down) and Colin with his cries of, "My ox is broken!" and "I'm packin' it!". I'm delighted that this season will soon be available on DVD because it's the main reason we are now enjoying season 20. Colin, for that, I thank you.

Colin Saves The Race
I know that many of you hate them, but I'll argue all day long that Colin and Christie saved the Amazing Race in Season 5.

It literally took 10 races before a couples team (Megan and Shane) tied their combined record of 9 combined 1st/2nd placements; and Megan and Shane did it with pre-arranged flights and a whole lot of bunching to put them up one win (7/2). The fact that Mirna so clearly hated Colin (he's a criminal!) endeared him to at least half the audience, and the fact that both C&C were intent at every moment on beating every other team, made this race feel like an actual competition.

The animosity that built up between Colin and the other competitors after he and Christie came from the middle of the pack to going 1st or second in the next 8 legs? That saved the race. Because people either loved Colin because he got that this was a RACE!!!! (which I admit, I did; Colin is my favorite racer ever) or they hated him because he didn't much care what he did...

Can't wait!
Truly the best season, so many memorable moments! Will order immediately when it is released. Must be the most exiciting finale next to the Season 2 foot race.

Chantal Akerman films Sonia Wieder-Atherton [2 DVD + 1 CD]

A must if you're a fan of Chantal Akerman, Sonia Wieder-Atherton, classical music or the cello
Three excellent film documents of Sonia Wieder-Atherton's work as one of our best and most creative cellists by one of our
most interesting film-makers on 2 DVDs, plus a CD of Wieder-Atherton's work on the soundtrack to Akerman's film
"A Couch in New York".

On the first DVD is "Avec Sonia Wieder-Atherton" 41 minutes. Its a wonderful combination of beautiful music beautifully played
and Chantal Akerman's inventive, but not intrusive filming of the wildly talented cellist. The film starts with Wieder-Atherton
telling the story of how she came to fall in love; first with music in general, and then with the cello, and
goes on to talk about how she found her specific style, which uses the music to try and almost form words of communication.
It's a delightful and enlightening interview. This is followed by Wieder-Atherton playing 6 pieces of quite different styles, from
the heartbreaking melodies of Brahms and Schubert to Berio's more edgy...

Touch

A Mini from the Misses that Rivals the Best in K-Pop
Up to this point Miss A has provided fans of K-pop with music that has been on par with many of the other prototypical K-pop groups - plainly speaking their music has been likeable but not really a standout. Now with Touch, the group has long jumped over several steps at once to reach the top of the staircase. Touch is a 6-track mini album that really lays the groundwork for Miss A to be a serious contender in upper echelons of K-pop stardom. The album begins with the title track, a synth-funky offering with breathless vocals that really functions as a ballad. Next comes "Lips" - my pick for the best track on the disc - a groovy club shaker with an electrohouse vibe, tribal percussion elements and a very catchy chorus. After that comes "Rock N Rule," a seriously fun track with cool dub-step pieces, excellent vocal mixes and all around good beats. Then comes "No Mercy," another catchy dance track that also has some very cool dub-step and keyboard elements. In fifth position is "Over...

Great album! Fresh K-POP sound!
Amazing! This was the comeback I've been waiting for since A Class last year. Touch is an awesome song, so new and different from what I've been hearing in K-Pop. Other favorites are Over U and Lip. Watch the videos of their performances and you'll be hooked!

Track Listing:
1. Touch
2. Lips
3. Rock and Rule
4. No Mercy
5. Over U
6. Touch (Newport Re-mix)---basically the acoustic version of Touch

Miss A!
Love it! I love Miss A. They are a very talented group and they are great singers. All the songs on the CD are fantastic and I love the little booklet with the pictures of the members that came with the CD. Love it!

Piano Recital [Blu-ray]

A fine recital from a veteran pianist enjoying an Indian summer in his new solo career
This concert featuring Menahem Pressler, the veteran pianist from the now retired Beaux Arts Trio, was recorded in 2011 when he was 88 years of age. Remarkably, his technical as well as his musical faculties remain at a very high level indeed. In the very detailed sleeve notes, which amount to his life history, he comments that he is now busier than ever having ceased his trio activities.

This is a demanding program and one that resonates strongly with his own history. The opening Beethoven sonata, for example, recalls his earlier days when he fainted during a piano lesson while playing it. This was partly the result of a lack of nourishment coupled with close identification with the emotional content of the piece as he conceived it. The music of Debussy relates to his winning a Debussy competition which was held out of sight of the judges. Little did they know that his repertoire of Debussy hardly existed at all beyond the competition pieces!

This recital,...

Splendid Disc Appears !
Very wonderful disc! I was astonished at the moment that Pressler's piano sound entered into my ears. That sound is sincerely warm and heartful. I felt as if embraced with affluent humanity and tenderness which we have rarely gotten recently in this world.

Each of the music pieces played in this disc is favorately expressed in view of the characteristic and attractiveness in each of them.

You would certainly feel deep love and pleasure!

Agatha Christie's Poirot: Series 4 [Blu-ray]

David Suchet - Perfection
Season 4 is one of the best from start to finish. David Suchet's portrayal brings to life Agatha Christie's Belgian detective; unlike any actor before him. He is to Poirot, what Jeremy Brett was to Sherlock Holmes. These are three of the longer; not to mention some of the best episodes; with "Death in the Clouds" and "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe" taking top honors. I highly recommend this season to anyone needing a bit intellectual entertainment, you won't be disappointed.

Poirot, Agatha Christie, David Suchet always, always GOOD
Remastered series 4 is 3 102 min. murders solved by Poirot, the masterful Belgian `little gray cell' man who forever out-sleuths Scotland Yard. Brilliant David Suchet is Poirot, enough said. Philip Jackson plays Chief Inspector Japp in all 3 episodes having a larger than previous role in 2 & 3 since Hastings (Hugh Fraser) Poirot's right-hand is available for only the first episode. Being all Agatha Christie stories makes it fantastic, but Suchet makes the film adaptations soar to new heights. Humor and some fantastic scenery and costuming appear in these. Poirot stories began in 1920 and the fictional character was granted a 1975 NYTimes front page obit.
SUBTITLES option available for all 3 episodes. Aired first in1992, set 4 of the re-released series now being offered in order of the original TV airings.
`The ABC Murders' 1936 (also book release year) Jim Hastings returns to help Poirot who's anxious for a crime to solve. A murderer taunts Poirot with letters announcing...

Great Poirot
Always a joy to view a Poirot episode with David Suchet as well as to read the original Agatha Chrsitie stories.

Bayadere

Weak La Bayadère with starry leading couple
With "La Bayadère" Milan's La Scala completes its Svetlana Zakharova/Roberto Bolle classical trilogy. Even more as with the previous releases in this series ("Swan Lake" and "Giselle", both published by TDK) the main reason for acquiring this DVD will be the presence of the two stars.

Filmed live at La Scala in May 2006, the company can be seen in Natalia Makarova's well-known staging of Marius Petipa's "La Bayadère", among others danced by London's Royal Ballet (and also available on a TDK DVD, starring Altynai Asylmuratova, Irek Mukhamedov and Darcey Bussell). As in the Royal Ballet's version the traditional sets are by Pier Luigi Samaritani, the costumes by Yolanda Sonnabend.

The company of La Scala proves competent, if nothing more. The female corps de ballet does a commendable job in the Shades Act, but the absence of noteworthy demi-soloists constitutes a serious handicap, as does the generally fast conducting of David Coleman. Moreover, by...

Two dancers' show
Zakharova and Bolle are so handsome that they can get all attentions by just standing on the stage, not mention that they are great dancers. Unfortunately the rest of the cast does not match. I could have given 5 stars, but it is so obvious that the supporting roles and corps de ballet are technically not so good. Generally speaking La Scala Ballet is not first class ballet company, especially many of the female corps de ballet don't seem to have good physical conditions to be ballet dancers. Anyway Zakharova and Bolle save the show. This comment also applys to La Scala's Giselle and Swan Lake.

Simultaneously Superb and Deeply Flawed
Roberto Bolle rhymes with Black Hole in my book as he eats energy on stage, sapping the performances of others. Errol Flynn did the same to Bette Davis in The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex, if you need another example. That Svetlana overcomes him makes her an even greater ballerina. The company on display manages to be adequate, i.e. get on and offstage without breaking their legs. Whoever cast the role of Gamzatti must have been looking for Bolle's female counterpart. I've got the Swan Lake and Giselle and so can say that the above remarks apply to them. My overwhelming impression is that at La Scala, ballet is the Ugly Duckling which only occasionally shows signs of being a swan.

I bought all three to have records of Svetlana in them. She is best in Bayadere. I also recommend La Fille de Pharaon and not only for her performance. It's a humdinger of a ballet. Her dancing reminds me of La Divine Sylvie Guillem who was also pilloried for "head-banging", and...

Elektra

Finally--an Elektra for newcomers!
This is the best Elektra on DVD; especially good as an introduction to this opera. Here's why:

Elektra is a psychological drama usually difficult for beginners to "get into." This is chiefly because, traditionally, our Elektras have been older, established singers, but this very middleaged look makes it very hard for viewers to identify with the young Elektra who has been imprisoned by her mother and stepfather.

In this production we see Eva Johansson who is a much more age-appropriate Elektra. She has a wonderful voice, strong enough to be heard above Strauss' dynamic orchestral statements, yet soft and expressive when the score calls for it. Additionally, Johansson has here a wild, piercing stage presence--exactly what is called for in a successful Elektra.

The other singers are similarly appropriate. Marjana Lipovsek has done the opera before and makes for an excellent evil, yet guilt-ridden Klytamnestra. Alfred Muff is a more convincing...

A New Twist on Elektra
My first exposure to Elektra was in 1953 with the San Francisco Opera Company; I was lucky enough to see it both in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The cast was truly legendary: Inge Borhk, Margarete Klose, Ludwig Suthaus and Paul Schoeffler. Also making his debut was Solti. I believe Ellen Faull (sp?) was Chrysothemis. I can't say that I knew the opera since it was hardly common currency. And although I was very young I certainly responded to the singing (notably Borkh and Klose) as well as the acting. Borkh had orginally trained as a stage actress and it showed; Klose simply poured out molten tones of liquid gold and was a commanding presence.

Since we don't have singers of this quality around today we can hardly duplicate that level of singing. This new DVD is worth investigating for variety of reasons although the level of singing wouldn't be one of them. My first exposure to Eva Johansson was as Eva in the Deutschoper production of Meistersinger. She was quite...

Provocative, unique staging, and committed portrayals
TDK has released a new DVD of an Elektra captured in Zurich

from December 2005. It is a total success.

This opera is one in which a design team can revel. They

can go to the absolute max here in matching Strauss's

tortured music. To my mind, the opera can be made

contemporary to any degree, and ideas to convey its

darkness can be endless. Leonie Rysanek

once stated she did not care for a traditional Classical

Greek setting for the piece, and I agree.

The setting looks to be a combination brothel and insane

asylum, sinister, austere and menacingly closed-in. The

floor has no even footing; it is all precariously un-level,

bumpy and dangerous.

The theme of this production is sex, debauchery and

depravity in its most shockingly unleashed fashion, and

it's exhilarating; no holds barred here, all sacred taboos

are...

Tarzan - Season One: Part Two (4 Discs)

Price keeps going up?!?!
I bought Season One:Part One last week and both part one and part two were $14.99 each. Since then they have both gone up to $40.00 and $44.00. Sometimes watching the price fluxuations on Amazon is like watching stocks rise and fall. Next week they might be $50.00 each or they might go down to $12.99. I would love to know what causes the constant and super fast fluxuations. I only bought Part One because I wanted to make sure I liked the show....unfortunately I do and now I might be stuck with paying $44.00 or more for the second half of Season One....Damn that's expensive for 1/2 of one season. By the way, the quality of the DVD's is good and the show itself is great! However, I don't think anyone will be willing to purchase it at the current price.

Season one now availble
I have been waiting a lifetime to finally see some decent copies of this series.WB archives has released this set in two parts for Ron Ely fans this is great news. The first season is now available.Update: They are remastered according WB and are superior to syndication prints out there and for the first time since its telecast you can really enjoy the color photography. This was a nice surprise for me I only found out two weeks ago and they have been out for some time now.Its the biggest secret out there I want to let Ron Ely fans know. Support this sale so season two may come out too!Long live WB archives for some rare treats on dvd.

great buy
This really takes me back! I can remember as a kid sitting on the armrest of my grandfather's chair every Saturday afternoon at 1:00 watching Tarzan! Oh I had quite an imagination back then, and can remember playing Tarzan for a time or two in the summer afternoons...pretending all kinds of things. The quality is awesome; it's just as if I am still sitting with my grandfather watching these episodes all over again. I cannot wait until season two comes out, because I will definitely be buying season two as well!

The Ultimate Guide to Youth Lacrosse

Great teaching tool
After having never played LAX, I had to learn the game from scratch in order to coach my sons' youth teams. Where we live, LAX is just now becoming the next big sport, so we had no legacy of coaches here to rely upon.

Needless to say, I sourced the internet and video libraries to find useful teaching tools. This is one of the best videos I found. Matt and team do a great job of teaching the individual and team fundamental skills combined with drills to develop those fundamentals.

Highly recommend this to youth LAX coaches at all levels.

Highly recommended
First year of lacrosse for my son. very helpful. coaches should show it to players as part of a practice

Jam Packed - Basics, Offense and Defense (with Nice Goalie Section)
I'm brand new to coaching youth lacrosse and this is my first Amazon review.

Bottom Line - great DVD set with non-stop youth lacrosse information. These 2 DVDs are created for the youth players to watch and 'absorb'.
From a coaching perspective, these DVDs are packed with drills and rock solid basics which every player should be taught early on.

Sekirei: Complete Season One (Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

there IS a story under all this loveliness
I have watched the first season and getting into the second season now. And I must say that both series are amazing. you would think despite the lovely lady on the cover and how they put the description from the back that this is a story full of nothing but attractive men and women beating on each other until their clothes are gone showing their assets - you are partially right, but under it all there is a great story, memorable characters (besides the obvious) and non stop action and humor (even when things get serious).

Our hero, Minato, is the typical nice shy guy, so much so he never has much chances with the ladies, but that changes when out of the sky a bouncy, beautiful girl literally falls on him, smothering him with her chest. She is on the run from a twin set of sisters who can shoot lightning from their hands, but when the two kiss Musubi gains special power to drive off the assialants. This is just the beginning as Minato learns of a dark orginization who is...

A story to please, but not for all
As with just about every anime series ever, there are good things about Sekirei, and there are bad things. In Sekirei's case, though, the good things far outweigh the bad.

For the uninitiated, Sekirei revolves around a battle royale of sorts, centering around 108 super-soldiers fighting for ultimate supremacy. There's more on the line than just bragging rights, though: The winner of the entire tournament, along with their Ashikabi (contract partner), will gain entrance into heaven, where they can stay for all eternity. The rest... will die in the process.

The premise seems tired and cliched at first: voluptuous ladies fighting amongst themselves for the affection of a particular male. However, this series gives the cliche some welcome twists. An Ashikabi does not have to stick with just the one Sekirei that he "wings" (in this series, "winging" refers to the Ashikabi unlocking the Sekirei's true powers. How is this done? How else? A kiss.) Rather, one Ashikabi...

echi done right!
This is a re-release of season one, but on blu-ray definition. being as they originally released season one in regular dvd format and season 2 in blu-ray. You have problibly already either seen this or heard of it by now, but it is a echi, harem action romantic comedy, that has its share of serious moments.

That main draw obviously being fan service, as there is lots of it. But the action is actually pretty good. This series isn't terribly original, but it is very entertaining to watch. genre wise it is very comparable to high school of the dead. The animation isnt the highest youll see. But it is better than the average anime, with some well choreographed fights and vibrant colors. I havent seen what it looks like on blu-ray, but I assume it looks much like season 2, which is a good thing.

bottom line this is an anime that doesn't try to break new grounds in it genre, but is directed in such a way where it succeeds in being a very entertaining watch. In a time...

Infinite Stratos Complete Collection

When harem anime meets SciFi mecha...
You get Infinite Stratos...

The concept behind the series is not bad. It borrows a bit from an older series called Sky Girls. There are differences indeed. Sky Girls does not have mechas behaving more like power suits that fit into a compact form they wear at all times. They also are more like personal jets than suits like this. When you look at them both, Infinite Stratos has an edge on design. For that reason alone, IS is worth a rental.

As a harem anime, IS fits in on par. Characters behave in traditional patterns and there are the common characters rehashed. You can somewhat predict how the story will go from that. If you are a fan of these sorts of shows, you will find some decent scenes here and there. It isn't a bad show and it is nice that there really isn't one completely clear winner girl throughout it. You know which girl is going to get more screen time but each of the girls make an impact on the guy, some more than others. The potential for a sequel...

Awesome!!
I really liked it I hope they come out with a new season soon!!! And the bonus soundtrack was awesome

awsome anime.
This anime is awsome, way beyond my expectations as a mecha anime as it adds unqiueness even if it does have a harem aspect as well.

definitely would recommend this if your into mecha animes

Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo: The Complete Series, Part 1

packaging lies
First off, I love this show. It is a great gag comedy with shonen anime fun, and I'm glad its finally getting a more thorough release than in the past. The transfer is good, audio clear, and a pretty solid dub track (I've heard better, but I've heard many not up to this quality).
My big problem, however, is the lack of an English subtitle track. The package says its there, and the publisher has come forward admiting the mistake. Did they admit an accidental omission of the track? No. They admitted the error of stating it on the package. A dub-only release isn't unheard of (it was the only way to get Rave Master), and the show wasn't edited (at least not anything I've noticed), but the inclusion of a Japanese audio track WITHOUT an English subtitle track seems like a slap in the face, especially when the original press release for the series stated it would be a sub/dub release.

Quoting from Anime News Network:
[...]
While both Japanese and English language...

Bo-bobo in his complete, uncut glory....with a catch.
Since so much has been said about this unusual, surreal, nonsensical series already, I'll skip right to the details of the set.

Bo-bobo has had a troubled home-video history. It was picked-up by an up-and-coming company spun-off from ADV employees who flew the coop called Illumitoon. They promised the series without the cuts it received on television and the original Japanese language track. Instead of offering a box-set of some sort, they went with singles. Volume one arrived and something was glaringly off; the subtitles were closed-caption dub-titles that followed the dub and its varying detours from the original. The dub-title track wasn't horrible per-se, but the closed-captions just didn't work. The company admitted to their mistake and began replacing discs for free that corrected this issue. Soon enough, volume two came around. Then everything went silent and it stayed that way; until now.

Illumitoon closed-up shop after putting-out a very small set of...

Finally it's here Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo
Wow !!! Finally it's here Bobobo-Bo-Bo-Bobo a true random anime that will make you laugh i guarantee it.
This series is so random, but fun to watch you will never be able to guess what will happen next its truly worth getting since your going to get around 35 Episodes of awesomeness i remember watching this on Cartoon Network and damn i love it every single little thing about it i know most people think this is just for little kids or maybe say that its "stupid" but they just don't have a open mind about this. I will get this for sure hopefully other people will also get it since its better than other Bad Anime out there that only involves with Huge Boobs and Sex related things its really sad that most of the anime of today has that on almost every character and don't even bother making the story interesting and unique like back in the day.

Doctor Who: Carnival of Monsters (Story 66) - Special Edition

Yet another double-dip!
I would really like to hear the explanation from BBC video (or 2|Entertain) as to why there are so many Double-dips lately! (My theory: now that we are nearing the end of what there is left to release, they are trying to fill in the gaps, so that there are at least two per release date--this is presumably for two reasons; one, to keep their revenue stream up and two, to keep Doctor Who "active" on the release schedule until the 50th anniversary next year. But this is just IMHO.)

This story was previously released on July 1st, 2003 Doctor Who: Carnival of Monsters (Story 66). Although, as I write this, the current asking price for a new copy is over $60.00 for a 1 disc edition and almost $30.00 for a used copy.

Presumably, the new disc one will be identical to the old edition and disc two will be additional special/supplemental material--but time will tell. You should do your research before...

Even President Zarb Would Have Approved of this Entertainment
Here's yet another classic Doctor Who story that was re-released before all the other classic stories have been made available. 2|entertain wants your money, but this is one of the few re-releases that I feel may be worth it.

As always, I'm not going to give a synopsis of the story itself. If you don't know the story by now, there are plenty of other reviewers who will tell you all about it ad nauseam. Rather, I'm going to focus on what I believe will help you decide if this product is worthy of your hard earned wages by reviewing the extras which, in my opinion, can make or break a purchase.

DVD Audio Commentary - There are two of these, and I Love it! The first one features actress Katy Manning, and producer Barry Letts. Miss you Barry. And then there's a second one. The following people come and go from episode to episode, but the whole list consists of Cheryl Hall / (Shirma), Jenny McCracken / (Claire Daly), Peter Haliday / (Pletrac), Terrance Dicks /...

CARNIVAL OF MONSTERS Features A Carnival of Extras!
I'll admit I can a bit late to the whole Doctor Who craze. Like most folks in America (my side of the pond, as it were), Tom Baker was the first real Doctor. This isn't to say that I was unaware of the three who came before; rather, it's only to say, at that point, the whole franchise came together for me in a persona I could more fully appreciate, who didn't seem to English-stuffy, and who brought the kind of warmth and whimsy so often displayed in Doctors who've played the role since. Do I have a favorite Doctor Who? Why, of course, I do! But that isn't the purpose of this review.

CARNIVAL OF MONSTERS comes from the Jon Pertwee years, and the story - much like so many tales from early Who - actually respectfully delves into a whole host of matters so common attributed to quality science fiction. It explores class structure - government - social disorder - multiple worlds - the technology of shrunken worlds - and almost Matrix-like existence as the Doctor and his...

Naruto Shippuden: Set Ten

Karachi's past, Pursuit of Itachi arc. SPOILER FREE REVIEW.
After the incredible Immortals arc it was disappointing that the two boxsets that followed were filler (original content not adapted from the manga). Fans will be relieved to hear that this boxset, which contains episodes 113-126, is entirely canon material. This set contains 14 episodes in total, including the two "bonus " episodes: Kakashi chronicles. As with the previous Immortal arc, Naruto has a lot less screen time than one would expect from a show centered around him. This boxset is predominantly focused on Sasuke, who up to this point in Shippuden has barely been seen. It is a testament to Masashi Kishimitos excellent character devolpment, that the show can switch between narratives, whether it is Shikimaru, Sasuke, or Kakashi, and still be utterly engrossing to the viewer. The standout episodes in this boxset, however, have to be the eagerly anticipated: Kakashi chronicles. I won't spoil what happens in these episodes, but they are deeply emotional and fantastically done...

Naruto Shippuden Box Set 10
This was a must see.I saw the episodes on the internet & knew that I must get when it was released.
It answers questions you have wondered about.
It leaves you wanting to watch more. The draw back is not enough episodes in this set as with all the other box sets. This set ends probably better than most as it concludes one story & gets set to start the next.
I would like set boxes to contain four disk sets & sneek preview of the next set as was the case with the naruto set boxes.
If your a fan like me it is worth getting to add to your growing collection as your well aware that this set will take up alot of space where you store them as this series keeps going.
Even the fillers are not as bad to watch as they can add to the characters profile & relate to who they have become.Naruto Shippuden: Set Ten

Great Naruto Action in the Shippuden series
I bought it from Amazon and have watched and enjoyed it now. A lot of good action and plot as Naruto and team 7 & 8 go after Sasuke. This is a must for Naruto fans especially since DisneyXD isn't showing the for some reason which I don't understand. I would hav bought the DVD anyway. I love the characters that are in this set:Shino, Kiba, Kakashi,Kabuto...and especially Hinata and Naruto. I wish that Sasuke could have been featured less and the others more...but I'm not his biggest fan. I would like more of Naruto/Hinata and the rest. Itachi is so cool in this set also. If you love Naruto...you need this DVD set...buy it from Amazon!

Laverne & Shirley: Five Season Pack

One Two Three Four..........
I was very happy with these dvds. Though It has been said some shows are edited. I don't like that they were, but still, there are enough laughs too keep you busy for quite some time..... One of the best tv shows ever. I can't really add anything that hasn't already been said about these shows....... Now,... It's time to release the rest of this show ...

Laverne & Shirley, Blast from the Past
Laverne & Shirley was just a great video. We laughed through every episode. Listening to the music before the episode started brought on a flood of good feelings. Laverne & Shirley complimented each other, Shirley forever the wise, good girl and Laverne always looking for a date. Laverne's loving father was a jewel and Mrs. Babish was quite the entertainer. AND Big Rosie and Laverne had a relationship you could not find in today's modern women. They fought, and remained friends, I must not forget Carmin, his singing and dancing was pleasant to watch. Each episode brought back memories of a time lost. The skits were funny and realistic, sometimes conveying a message about life. Linny & Squiggie, were absolutely charming & very funny. "Hello" classic Squiggie line. There was one episode where Laverne & Shirley had become older women, still unmarried and stumbling around as some older women of that time period were portrayed. Later on that evening I saw Laverne (Penny...

Such Fun....
I'm so happy I bought this! The five season pack is wonderful, copies at there best! The laugh's keep rolling on! If you love Laverne & Shirley then you need to have this!! Cheers! William

Tarzan - Season One: Part One (4 Discs)

A uniqe series long over due!Ron Ely was a great Tarzan
Tarzan for its time 1966-1968 was a great action series with neat locations and sets and actors.Nichelle Nichols, Don Marshall,Diana Ross and the Supremes, Helen Hays,James MacArthur,Sally Kellerman,Ethel Merman,Nemiah Persoff,Lloyd Haynes,George Kennedy,Nancy Malone,James Earl Jones and many many more enliven this series with these great actors.Ron Ely was in excellent shape at the time to play this character for two seasons.Ron really took this role seriously and rarely used a stunt double.During the first season he sustained at least 17 separate injuries. He was bitten by a lion on the forehead and thigh on two different occasions. He singed his feet and legs running through fires, He ripped the skin off his feet sliding down a hill. While swinging on those vines they have broken at least three times falling 25 feet sustaining a separated shoulder,a broken shoulder, tons of cuts and bruises including both wrists and three ribs. Now thats really a trooper for and actor to really want...

GREAT SERIES FINALLY ON DVD, LOOKING BETTER THAN EVER.
TARZAN fans can rejoice. This memorable series is at long last now available on DVD, and they've done an outstanding job with this release. The quality is awesome, with bold colors, and superior, crisp definition. It looks so good in fact, that it's hard to believe what you're viewing is over 45 years old. Ron Ely's take on the character always impressed me as a kid, and revisiting these episodes now as an adult did not dissapoint. Each episode is really like a short movie, with unusually high production values for the period, and excellent performances from a stable of fine actors in guest roles, most notably former movie-Tarzan Jock Mahoney. Can't wait to get season two!

A Swingin' Good Time
It's been decades since I watched the Tarzan show as a teenager, and I always remembered the show as having the most faithful portrayal of Edgar Rice Burroughs' literary character. Most big and little screen portrayals of Tarzan are so disappointing for fans of the original books, but Ron Ely's portrayal of Tarzan is satisfying and still the best and most authentic to this day. Production values of the show were good for the time and the scripts, acting and directing and overall storytelling are generally good. The audio/visual quality of the DVD's are quite decent. I did have an issue twice with the audio and video being out of sync, but hitting the stop button followed by hitting play on the DVD player immediately resolved the problem. These Tarzan show DVD's are a swingin' good time and I highly recommend them!
